The sky says a lot

I always loved taking photographs of what I call “Epic Skies.” I enjoy going out and photographing the sky during a sunset or right before a store. I find the intensity of the clouds  breath taking. Here is a shot that really catches my eye.

Enjoy!

The mighty bird

Today was a sunny day and I had a vision in my mind to create some life like images. I came across a photographer that used barbie dolls to create a wedding scene and it look believable. I got inspired and wanted to create my own idea with this stuffed lion I have.

When I got to my location, everything changed. My idea had suddenly disappeared when I saw the most beautiful bird fly by. I was a little upset because the bird decided to sit on a high branch, but I still took photographs. Disappointment set in and I fell back to my old idea with my lion. I felt discouraged because lions don’t live in snow so I decided to wait for summer. On my way back from my journey, I looked to my right and saw the beautiful bird sitting on a branch at the bottom of the tree with his meal. I was excited and got some amazing pictures. Hope you enjoy!

This is what I call Love

Lately I have been feeling so down and I couldn’t quite understand why. I then realized I was so caught up on my other job that I had no time to do what I love, take photographs. My boyfriend and I got a day off together and the sun was shinning    so I packed up my “Putt Putt” with my boyfriend and camera.

I had no idea where to go since I haven’t been out in a while. I was like a kid in a candy shop not to sure what I wanted but so excited. I decided to take some self portraits of my boyfriend and I down by Hardy Falls in beautiful Peachland. We both froze our butts off but I think we got some great shots together. I love him for everything he does for me. I hope you guys can see the love too! Enjoy!
